Macomb Defeats Jackson To Remain In Second

The Macomb College Soccer Team posted an impressive 7-0 victory over Jackson Community College this past Saturday, September 20th.

The win moved the Monarchs to 5-2-1 overall and to 3-1 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association standings. 

On the season, sophomore, Matt Moceri leads the Monarchs in scoring with 15 points (6 goals, 3 assists).

2008 Season Schedule Released

The 2008-09 Soccer schedule has been released.  The Monarchs will look to defend their first Regional Title since becoming a Division I program. 

Last seasons regional and MCCAA Head Coach of the Year,  Jerome Hickey is returning several key freshman to an experienced group of sophomores.

Macomb will open their season at the Delta Tournament where they will face two of Ohio's top teams in Owens and Lakeland.  The first home match will be on Wednesday, September 3rd, when the Monarchs will host Delta College in their first league match of the year.

All home games are played at the Macomb Sports & Expo Center on South Campus.
