Terri Szur starts her first season as Head Volleyball Coach at Macomb Community College. Szur graduated from the University of Michigan with her Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Education. While at U of M, Szur played one year of Basketball and Softball. She also played one year of Basketball at Western Michigan University.
Szur brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Macomb. Szur has over 16 years of Volleyball coaching experience at Anchor Bay High School. While at Anchor Bay, she has had over 20 athletes receive scholarships to play volleyball at the collegiate level. Szur led her Anchor Bay team to the 1997 District Championship. In addition to their '97 District Championship, Szur followed up by leading her team to the 2001 MAC White League Championship. At the conclusion of the 2001 season, Szur was named Coach of the Year.
For the past 10 years, Szur has served as President of Macomb County Volleyball Coaches Association (MCVCA) and an elected member of the Executive Board for MIVCA.
Szur is married to Jim Szur and is currently a Teacher of Computer Science and Physical Education at Anchor Bay High School.
