Margaret Cadieux has been the Athletic Director at Macomb Community College for the past ten years. In that time, she is most proud of bringing academics to the forefront, both institutionally and on the national level. In 2002, Cadieux was honored by the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and fellow athletic directors as MCCAA Athletic Director of the Year.
Cadieux began her intercollegiate carrer at Macomb. She played softball for the Monarchs and earned All-Conference honors her sophomore year. Cadieux earned her Assocites of General Studies Degree in 1984. She was recruited by University of Detroit Mercy to play softball, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in 1987.
Cadieux's first stint at Macomb spanned from 1982-1990. She was the Assistant Softball Coach under Kathleen Maiuri in 1985 and with Sarah Rotta in 1996. Cadieux was Head Softball Coach in 1987, where she accumulated a record of 24-9.
Before returning to Macomb, Cadieux was the Athletic Director and taught Physical Education and Science at Our Lady of the Sea from 1987-1992. From 1993-1996, she taught Physical Education and Science at Dominican High School.
