MONARCHS SWEEP ANCILLA

The Macomb baseball team improved to 5-7 in the MCCAA and 11-17 overall following a pair of wins against Ancilla College.  The Monarchs were led by another great start from Joe McLaren, who threw a complete game one-hitter while striking out four.  McLaren has thrown shut-outs in all of his last three starts, pitching 20 innings over that span.

MACOMB SWEEPS ALPENA

The Macomb softball team improved to 8-2 in the MCCAA Eastern Conference and 13-13 overall following a sweep of Alpena 8-0 and 3-2.  Bryana Opalewski had a great day at the plate, going 5-7 on the day with three runs, two RBI, two doubles, and one triple.
