The Michigan Reconnect Scholarship is still available and covers all in-district tuition and fees so you can earn a debt-free associate degree. If you’re 21 or older and earned a high school diploma or GED, you’ll likely qualify.
We offer credit for both your work/life experience and for prior learning – e.g., courses at other colleges or your workplace. You may also receive credit for any skill certificates you’ve earned, licenses you’ve held, apprenticeships completed and/or military service.
Our Career Services Department will not only help you find a job but will also help you build a resume and prepare for interviews. It also holds an annual job fair where job seekers meet hiring employers right on campus.
Counseling and Academic Advising can help you select and register for classes, the Reading and Writing Studios and Learning Centers can provide an assist with your studies, and Career Services offers several free workshops throughout each semester, covering everything from notetaking and study skills to time and stress management.
The Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) provides for transferability of 30 semester credits to meet many (and in some cases all) of the general education requirements at participating Michigan colleges and universities. And the University Center on Center Campus offers close-to-home convenience with bachelor’s degree and other programs offered through partnerships with 10 other colleges and universities.
