(formerly OTA 238) Building upon the skills presented in OTAS-1380, Documentation Skills 1, this course teachers third-party reimbursement guidelines/regulations and appeals, teaches standards for confidentiality and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and teaches the documentation of intervention plans, long- and short-term goals/objectives, progress notes, and discontinuation summaries utilizing actual client intervention sessions.
