HITT-1209 - International Classification of Disease (ICD) - Beginning Coding

Prerequisite: HITT-1102, HITT-1103, and HITT-1104 with grade C or better
Corequisite: HITT-1201, HITT-1206, HITT-1208

(HITT-1209 & HITT-2108 together replace HITT-1207) HITT-1209 introduces students to the International Classification of Disease (ICD) as used in diagnostic and procedural coding. Laboratory session focuses on the application of the related skills with accuracy and completeness using manual and computerized methods. (4 contact hours) Center Campus. Winter semester only.
