Credit By Examination
Macomb Community College offers Credit by Examination for specific courses. Students are allowed one (1) opportunity to attempt a passing score for each test selected. Students may not test out of a course they have previously taken at Macomb. Tests are administered by appointment at the South Campus Learning Center. The fee of $50 for these exams is to be paid by the student prior to testing.
Students interested in taking a Credit by Examination for any of the courses currently offered need to complete the following:
- Complete the Credit by Examination Student Request Form.
- Pay the $50 fee via Acceptiva using a debit, credit, or MacombOne card.
- Schedule a testing appointment at the South Campus Learning Center (586.445.7001 or testing@macomb.edu).
- Submit form to test proctor at scheduled exam time with paid receipt.
