– Thursday, April 10, 2014 12:00PM

Ride and Drive on Friday, May 2, 3 to 8 p.m., at South Campus, is a unique opportunity to test-drive or ride in electric and hybrid vehicles and learn more about electric vehicle technology.

Ride and Drive is sponsored by the Center for Advanced Automotive Technology and is offered in conjunction with its 2014 conference: “You Can’t See the Future in the Rearview Mirror.” Vehicles expected to be available to test-drive (by licensed drivers 18 and older) include a Tesla Model S, Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, Ford Focus EV and Toyota Prius.

There will also be hands-on activities inside the Michigan Tech Mobile Lab, one of the first high-tech HEV engineering classrooms on wheels in the nation.

Ride and Drive is limited to the first 250 to register. Reserve a place today at www.autocaat.org/drive/.
