Walsh College is an independent, accredited institution that offers a quality business education to upper-division and graduate students. Students can complete the final two years of study toward Bachelor of Accountancy, Bachelor of Business Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology degrees.
Graduate programs include the Master of Business Administration degree and Master of Science degrees in Accounting; Finance; Information Assurance; Information Systems; International Business; Strategic Leadership, and Taxation. Walsh College also offers the Doctor of Management in Executive Leadership.
Since its founding in 1922, the College mission has been to provide a quality, practical business education that enables students to become successful professionals and leaders. A recent survey reveals that 95 percent of Walsh students so highly value their education that they would recommend Walsh College to a friend. Hundreds of students who complete their bachelor's degree at Walsh return to receive the power of a Walsh graduate degree.
Locations:
In addition to the Macomb University Center location in Clinton Township, Walsh has campuses in Troy and Novi. The main campus in Troy is located at 3838 Livernois, north of Big Beaver Road. The Novi campus is located at 41500 Gardenbrook Road, north of Eleven Mile Road, south of I-96, and west of Meadowbrook Road.

Bachelor of Accountancy As today's business world becomes more complex, changing state laws require Certified Public Accountants (CPA) to possess an increased depth of skills. In response, Walsh College offers the Bachelor of Accountancy degree backed by an 85-year tradition of accounting excellence. This degree program satisfies Certified Public Accountant licensing requirements and provides students with the business background and extensive accounting skills necessary for success as a CPA.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees with majors in Accounting Processes, Finance, General Business, Management, and Marketing are designed to familiarize students with all aspects of business while they specialize in an area that most interests them.
- Accounting Processes: The BBA in Accounting Processes is designed to allow students to enter the accounting profession, providing a firm foundation in accounting and the flexibility to enroll in several non-accounting courses to fulfill degree requirements. This degree prepares the student to sit for the Certified Management Accountant and Certified Financial Manager examinations.
- Finance: Whether go to they work for large corporations or for small businesses after graduation, Walsh BBA Finance students will be able to think strategically and apply a deep understanding of financial theory, planning and analysis. Extensive coursework in finance, investments, and credit analysis prepares students for careers as bank branch managers, stockbrokers, underwriters, financial planners and financial analysts.
- General Business: The BBA in General Business allows students to capitalize on options, aptitude, and opportunity while building a skill base to open the door to success. Extensive coursework in accounting, finance, and communication prepares students for a wide range of careers that include purchasing agent, customer service manager, supervisor, or sales manager.
- Management: Walsh BBA in Management graduates enter the business world armed with core business skills as well as strategic vision, creative problem-solving, advanced interpersonal communication skills, and a detailed understanding of today's economic and financial trends required of effective leaders in today's fast-paced business environment. Students are prepared for careers in human resource management, public administration, customer service, industrial production management, health care, and several other growing fields.
- Marketing: The BBA in Marketing is built on the four P's: product, pricing, place of distribution, and promotion. Graduates will acquire an in-depth understanding of these activities and their impact on consumers. They will also be prepared for jobs in a broad array of fields that include marketing research, advertising, public relations, marketing communications, Internet marketing, and sales.
- Honors Fast Track Program: Students enrolled in this joint honors program between Walsh and Macomb Community College can transition from their associate's degree in business through their bachelor (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees at Walsh College with a minimum of 150 semester credit hours. To qualify for the program, students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.300 or higher in all previous college coursework.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) The distinctive Walsh College MBA program encompasses the study of accounting, finance, management, and related disciplines. The curriculum demonstrates how foundational courses are integrated within a successful business operation. Walsh MBA students can further specialize in accounting, business information technology, economics, finance, information assurance, human resource management, marketing, project management, strategic leadership, and taxation.
