The University Center at Macomb Community College will hold an open house 12:30 – 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, to help prospective students learn about available bachelor’s and master’s degree programs available through the nine partner institutions.
Representatives from Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Madonna University, Michigan State University, Oakland University, Rochester College, University of Detroit Mercy, Walsh College and Wayne State University will be available at the open house to discuss their degree offerings available at the Macomb University Center.
Three informational workshops will also be offered during the open house:
• Pathways to Your Future: Information on the hottest careers in Michigan and the skills and education needed to succeed.
• Transferring Made Easy: Focusing on the tools you need to maximize transfer credits, as well as information on 2+2 and 3+1 programs offered at Macomb and the University Center.
• I Know What I Want, How Do I Pay For It?: Information about financial aid options and a checklist of steps to take advantage of funding possibilities.
