University Center Offers Open House

The University Center at Macomb Community College will hold an open house 12:30 – 3 p.m. Sunday, March 29. The open house will allow prospective students to learn about the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs available through the eight partner institutions at the center.

Representatives from Central Michigan University, Ferris State University, Madonna University, Oakland University, Rochester College, University of Detroit Mercy, Walsh College and Wayne State University will be available at the open house to discuss the various degree offerings available at the University Center.

Three informational workshops will be offered during the open house:

• Pathways to Your Future: Information on the hottest careers in Michigan and the required skills and education needed to succeed.
• Transferring Made Easy: This session will give you the tools you need to maximize transfer credits and also provide information on 2+2 and 3+1 programs offered at Macomb and the University Center.
• I Know What I Want, How Do I Pay For It?: This session will offer information on financial aid options and provide a checklist of steps to take advantage of funding possibilities.
