Macomb Community College Job Fair Planned May 4

More than 50 area employers are expected to be represented at the annual Macomb Community College Career Services Job Fair, 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 4. The fair will be at the college’s Sports & Expo Center, South Campus, 12 Mile & Hayes, Warren.

The career fair is open to students, alumni and area residents. No advance registration is required.

Those attending the fair are encouraged to dress in business attire, to be prepared for a short job interview on the spot and to bring plenty of copies of their resume. Employers will be present to talk about full-time, part-time, permanent, and other types of career experience positions.

In addition to organizing the annual job fair, Macomb’s Career Service department offers a wide variety of free services, including workshops and information sessions on how to prepare a resume and how to prepare for a job interview. The college also maintains a database of possible job openings for students in the area.
