Release Date:
October 13, 2011

The Lorenzo Cultural Center is looking to secure additional vendors from the community for the Michigan Harvest Festival on November 19, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival is the concluding event to the current cultural center series, which is featuring a series of five exhibits and more than 30 presentations and activities.

There are limited spots available for vendors who sell Michigan-based, agricultural-related goods to take part in the Michigan Harvest Festival, a community celebration that will showcase state, county and regional offerings, while also promoting the best of Michigan’s harvested products.

The vendor booths are free to community residents and businesses who sell agricultural-related goods.

"To highlight the best of Michigan’s harvest, we need vendors both big and small to participate," said Christine Guarino, director of cultural affairs, Macomb Community College. "We want to make sure vendors from all segments of our community are aware of the opportunity to take part in this unique celebration."

Any interested vendor must provide Michigan-based agricultural items such as food or products from animals such as wool, leather, etc. which fit the theme of the event. Food vendors must be licensed.
