Macomb Community College has received a grant from the Metro Health Foundation for the 12th consecutive year to support a nursing scholarship. The Foundation is providing a $10,000 grant for the scholarship.

Grants are awarded to eligible Macomb nursing students twice a year by a selection committee of nursing faculty and financial aid staff. Each recipient must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and complete at least 12 credit hours in Macomb's nursing program each semester to retain their scholarship eligibility.

Metro Health Foundation is a private, Detroit grant-making foundation supporting Michigan organizations in health care and health-related fields.
