Macomb Community College has received a grant from the Metro Health Foundation for the 13th consecutive year to support nursing scholarships. The Foundation is providing a grant for $10,000 to help create eight scholarship awards.

These scholarships are awarded to eligible Macomb nursing students twice a year by a selection committee of nursing faculty and financial aid staff.  Each recipient must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 and complete at least 12 credit hours in Macomb’s nursing program each semester to retain their scholarship eligibility.

Eight Macomb Community College nursing students recently received scholarships as a result of this year’s Metro Health Foundation grant.
