Christopher Ilitch, president and CEO of Ilitch Holdings, will be the keynote speaker at "Doing Business in the 21st Century" to be held at the Albert L. Lorenzo Cultural Center at Macomb Community College (formerly the Macomb Cultural Center) on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
Sponsored by the college's Center for Continuing Education, the half-day seminar, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is for small business owners and entrepreneurs interested in updating their businesses to better meet the demands of the changing marketplace. Participants will learn four steps that can help them effectively transition their businesses, leading to an increase in sales.
Ilitch Holdings was launched by Christopher Ilitch's parents, Mike and Marian Ilitch, and includes Little Caesars Pizza, the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers, Olympia Entertainment, Fox Theatre and Champion Foods.
"Doing Business in the 21st Century" is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and is endorsed by the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center.
