Macomb Offers Career Workshops

Those interested in exploring a new career or learning new skills to enhance a current one may want to consider attending any one of a number of career workshop programs offered by the Center for Continuing Education at Macomb Community College. The workshops are all free and provide information on job prospects and the education needed for a variety of different fields.

The workshops are:

Certified nurse assistant, 10 a.m. – noon or 6-8 p.m. April 15; or 6-8 p.m. May 12, South Campus.
Film industry, 6:30-8 p.m. April 30, South Campus.
Mediation & arbitration, 6-7:30 p.m. May 5, Center Campus.
Event planning, 6:30-8 p.m. May 6, South Campus.
Floral design, 6:30-8 p.m. May 6, Center Campus.
Landscape design, 6:30 – 8 p.m. May 6, South Campus.
Customer service representative, 6:30-8 p.m. May 6, South Campus.
Fitness trainer, 10-11 a.m. May 9, Center Campus.
Airbrushing, 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 11, M-TEC.
Pinstriping, 6:30-7:30 p.m. May 12, M-TEC.
Health careers, 6-8 p.m. May 12, South Campus.
Jewelry trades, 6-7:30 p.m. May 12, South Campus.
Court reporting, 6-8:30 p.m. May 13, Center Campus.
 
Macomb’s M-TEC is located at Van Dyke & Tank, Warren; Center Campus is M-59 & Garfield, Clinton Township; South Campus is 12 Mile & Hayes, Warren.
