Macomb Community College’s Workforce and Continuing Education Department is offering a series of free informational workshops on the training requirements and the employment outlook in a variety of career fields.
While the workshops are free, advance registration is required, which may be made by calling 586.498.4000 or e-mailing continuinged@macomb.edu.

Health Careers, 6-8 p.m. Aug. 11, South Campus. The Health Careers workshop will be repeated on Sept. 29 and Dec. 1.
Film Industry, 6:30-8 p.m., Aug. 18, South Campus.
Mediation & Arbitration, 6-7:30 p.m., Aug. 23, Center Campus.
Jewelry Trades, 6-8 p.m., Aug. 24, South Campus.
Wedding & Event Planning, 6-7 p.m., Aug. 25, Center Campus.
Fitness Trainer, 10-11 a.m. Aug. 28, Center Campus.
Floral Design, 6:30-8 p.m., Aug. 31, South Campus.
Real Estate, 6-7 p.m. Aug. 31, Center Campus.
Administrative Assistant, 6-7 p.m., Sept. 1, Center Campus.
Landscape Design, 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 1, South Campus.
Court Reporting, 6-8 p.m., Sept. 8, Center Campus.
Entrepreneur, 6-7 p.m., Sept. 8, Center Campus.
Macomb’s Center Campus is located at Garfield and M-59 in Clinton Township. The South Campus is at 12 Mile and Hayes in Warren.
