Macomb’s Center for Continuing Education Offers Airbrushing Classes

Artists interested in learning about airbrushing may select from three levels of training in classes offered this winter by the Center for Continuing Education at Macomb Community College.

 

A free career workshop and airbrushing demonstration will be offered 6:30-8:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12, at the Macomb M-TEC, Van Dyke and Tank Avenue, Warren.

 

In Basic Airbrushing, students will develop fundamental “brush” strokes and control through practice exercises. The class will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Jan. 19-Feb. 18 at M-TEC. The cost is $295, plus supplies.

 

Intermediate Airbrushing will focus on professional airbrush tricks, fine-tune airbrushing skills and enhancing understanding of color theory. The class will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, Feb. 23-March 25 at M-TEC. The cost is $295, plus supplies.

 

Advanced Airbrushing will incorporate textures and emphasize composition, color choices and rendering style. The class will be held 6:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, March 30-April 25 at M-TEC. The cost is $295, plus needed supplies.
