CAREER EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES

Internships and Cooperative Education - This experience serves as a vital link with the business and civic community and allows you to practice career skills in an environment difficult to duplicate in a college laboratory setting. Internship and Cooperative Education opportunities also provide on the job experience to develop technical and interpersonal skills critical to successful employment. Positions may be paid or unpaid and are either full-time (30 to 40 hours a week) or part-time (14 to 29 hours per week). Internship and Cooperative Education experiences are available on either an alternating  (work one semester, attend class the next) or parallel (work while attending class) schedule. Disney College Program Internship Information Session: Only students meeting Career Experience Internship requirements will be approved to attend the Disney College Program information session.

Career Mentoring - Provides students with information regarding their area of study and career field with assistance from an employer or alumni representative.

Job Shadowing - Provides students a temporary, unpaid exposure to the workplace in a career area of interest.

Informational Interviewing - Provides students the option to speak with a professional in their field of study and learn about their career path and steps needed to take to achieve their career goals.
