Ferris State University at Macomb Community College
To earn a bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology and Management from Ferris State University you should complete at least 64 transferable credit hours at Macomb Community College or earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in one of the technology areas offered by Macomb. This is an articulated 3 + 1 transfer program and credits above and beyond the associate's degree can be transferred. The program requires a minimum of 30 Ferris State semester hours to earn the bachelor's degree. The minimum number of credits required to complete this bachelor's degree is 124 semester hours. Ferris State University has established requirements for admission to this articulated bachelor's degree program. The requirements are as follows:
- Completion of the above mentioned 64 Macomb credits prior to graduation from FSU. Dual enrollment at both institutions if possible. Consult with an FSU admissions representative for more information on beginning classes at Ferris prior to completion of the Macomb portion of the program.
- An overall Macomb grade point average of at least 2.50 is required as is a 2.50 average in mathematics courses completed at Macomb.
- An official Macomb transcript must be submitted at the time of application to FSU.
Requirements for graduation from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Technology and Management are as follows:
- Maintain a cumulative FSU grade average of at least a 2.00 and a FSU math GPA of a 2.50 or better, as well as a 2.75 in the FSU Concentration and Core.
- Complete at least 30 FSU semester hours in order to fulfill the Ferris State residency requirement.
- Complete a minimum of 62 semester hours beyond Macomb's associate's degree. These hours may be a combination of credits from Macomb Ferris and other institutions.
- Satisfy the General Education Requirements at FSU.
- Successfully complete the minimum of 124 semester hours, which is required for the bachelor's degree.
