A. We help students and alumni with researching specific career, college and major information. We also provide assistance in preparing for your job search including resume and cover letter critiquing and practice interviewing. Career Services has a computer lab on each campus which are available to students for these purposes.

A. The specialists on staff can give you ideas about how to make your resume stand out as well as how to create a cover letter that displays your best talents. We also maintain a job database, called MacombCareerLink which students and alumni use to search for open positions in the tri-county area. It's easy! Just fill out a profile, upload a resume and begin searching and applying for jobs posted daily by employers in our large data base.

A. Career Services has many resources available to help you find career information, including job descriptions, education requirements, salary expectations, and job outlook. We have a variety of online resources, as well as hardcopy information, to help you with your research. Check out our Career Labs in person or browse our pages here on the web to access these resources.

A. While we do not place students in positions, we do assist individuals in their job search. If you are a current or former student the MacombCareerLink is the perfect place to start your job search. You can search for positions by industry, education level and more.
