Waitlisting
Students trying to register for a closed section may add their names to a waitlist. Each waitlist is built on a first-come, first-serve basis and is prioritized according to the date and time students select the waitlist option. If a seat becomes available, an email will be sent to the student at the top of the waitlist.
Students can be on more than one waitlist, including waitlists for multiple sections of the same course. Once a student enrolls in a course, however, his or her name is automatically removed from any other waitlist for the same course.
To take full advantage of the waitlist option, students must have a valid email address on file. Students can use WebAdvisor to verify or update their PRIMARY email address. The College
cannot be responsible for inactive or incorrect email addresses, full mailboxes, or other similar problems that might affect the delivery of an email message.
