TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER U.S. COLLEGE

Basic steps for student transferring to Macomb from another U.S. college:

  • Send us TOEFL scores or if you are in the area, take our compass test or demonstrate to us by way of transcript, that you have completed ESL or English classes equivalent to our EAPP 1400 Integrated Skills & Prepatory Composition 4.
  • If your English proficiency qualifies you to attend Macomb you can proceed with the paperwork.
  • Fill out and return to us all the forms you print from the checklist.
  • Do not have your current school transfer your SEVIS record to us until your start date at Macomb has been established.
  • Once your record has been transferred to us, we will create your new I-20.
  • When you arrive at Macomb you can sign the I-20 and we can finish the transfer process so you can register for classes.
