ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) & INTERNTAIONAL BACCALAUREATE (IB)

The College Entrance Examination Board sponsors the Advanced Placement (AP) program.

Successful completion of exams with a score of 3 or greater in any of the subject areas generally allows students to receive college credit, advanced placement, or both at most post-secondary institutions.  You can work with your high school counselor to find out more information. For additional information, please visit the CollegeBoard.

Macomb also provides course credit for students participating in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

Macomb does provide a complete list of the AP and IB equivalencies accepted at Macomb.
