In the summer of 2006 we hosted a CNC summer academy with RC race cars as our theme. We purchased 4 car kits, broke them down, and designed new bodies and wheels for them in the first two days, CNC machined and vacuum formed new bodies in the next two days, and raced them on Friday! It was a fun packed week and 20 High School students walked away with valuable lessons learned in design and manufacturing.
