Assistant Women's Basketball Coach Ryan Meerschaert is entering his first season with the Monarchs. Meerschaert comes to Macomb after playing college basketball at Orchard Lake St. Mary's. Meerschaert was a three sport athlete at Warren Woods Tower where he was an All-County selection for three years in basketball. He was also a four year varsity player on the baseball and soccer teams at Tower.

Meerschaert is a full-time student and will finish his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Oakland University in May 2008.
