
Margaret Cadieux has been the Athletic Director at Macomb College since 1996. In that time, she is most proud of bringing academics to the forefront of community college intercollegiate athletics, both institutionally and on the national level. Macomb has had hundreds of student athletes qualify for individual honors such as All-American, All-Region, All-State, and All-Conference. Macomb is very proud to have produced student athletes who have earned 6 National Championships, 42 Regional titles, 65 MCCAA and Conference titles in a variety of sports.
In 1999, Cadieux was elected as the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Women’s Region XII Assistant Director. In 2002, Cadieux was honored by the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) and fellow athletic directors as the MCCAA Athletic Director of the Year and began serving the MCCAA as the Eastern Conference Sport Director. This past spring, Cadieux was elected to a two-year term as President of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
