Carl Jamison begins his first season at Macomb as a Volunteer Coach. Although, Jamison comes to Macomb as a coach; he is not unfamiliar with tradition of the Monarchs. Jamison was a freshman guard for the 1970-1971 Macomb Monarchs Men’s Basketball team. He earned his associates degree in management.
As a high school standout, Jamison was All-City and All-State in 1969 at Southeastern High School. After graduation he went to Lorain College in Ohio. In 1970, Jamison came to Macomb and was the team leading scorer and the Team MVP.
Jamison’s coaching experience extends to the Wish Egan Youth Baseball League for 2 years. He is a retired worker of 36 years at Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Michigan. Jamison has been married for 35 years and has one son for the union.
