Raced to All-American honors finishing 24th overall at the NJCAA National Cross Country Meet...earned All-Region and All-MCCAA honors...was named a NJCAA Academic All-America...earned the title of NJCAA Distinguished Academic All-American with a 3.86 GPA...was named the Most Valuable Performer and the Alexa Kraft Female Athlete of Year at the Annual Macomb Sports Banquet. 

Was part of a team that ranked #22 in the final NJCAA Cross-Country Polls… was a member of the Academic All-American Team…she also was a member of the track team…she was an Indoor National Qualifier…received All-American Honorable Mention honors in the Indoor 3200 meter relay.

Prepped by Coach Tim Groteluechsen at Lutheran High School North as a runner...was also a member of the Track team for four seasons...was captain of both teams during her senior year...earned All-Conference, All-County, All-State, All-County Academic, All-Conference Academic, All-State Academic as well as Scholar Athlete honors…was a member of a Conference Championship team…holds the school record in the 5K with a time of 18:42…graduated in 2008 with a 3.97 GPA.

Born-Carissa Leigh Hudson…has an interest in pursuing a degree in graphic design…hobbies includes photography…daughter of Mike and Amy Hudson.
