Assistant Coach 
Assistant Jack Holloway enters his first year of coaching at Macomb Community College. His primary responsibilities will be to cultivate the skills of hitters, outfielders and pitchers.
Holloway is in his 13th year of coaching baseball. During those 13 years, he has split his time as a head, assistant, associate, instructor as well as recruiting coach on the interscholastic, intercollegiate and professional levels. Coach Holloway began coaching in 1995 with the Cass Angels Class A Semi-Pro team as an Assistant and the Angels earned the division championship in 1996. Then he assumed the same title for the Birmingham Seaholm High School Varsity baseball team for three seasons. Holloway accepted the Head Coaching job for Team Astros in the Babe Ruth League in the 2001 season and led them to a League Championship. In 2002, as an Assistant on the Concealed Security team he helped lead them to the Farmington Blues Invitational Championship and was the runner-up in the Mayors Tournament. In the following year, Holloway assumed the head coaching duties of the Team Southfield in the RBI league and that team won the Regional Championship and was the runner-up in the National Championship! To show his dedication and fervor for the sport of baseball he also doubled as a Head Coach and Assistant Coach from 2001-2004 for the American Legion Farmington squad and Farmington High School. During this span, American Legion-Farmington won the Regional, Northern Michigan Indian Classic, the Mayors Tournament Championships as well as placing third in the State Finals. Holloway also led Farmington High to OAA Division Championship and amassed 101 victories in four seasons! In 2005, he returned to his alma-mater of Anchor Bay as Head Coach and led the team to the District Championship and his team won the Good Sportsmanship Award. As an Associate, Pitching and Recruiting Coach at St. Clair Community College for the 2004-2007 seasons, Holloway helped the team win the 2006 Regional Tournament, the team ERA in the 2005-2006 seasons was under 4.00, he implemented a pitching program and created a New Red Flag Monitoring System for Student Athletes Academic Process. From 2006-2007 he instructed and coached for the Traverse City Beach Bums (Independent Minor League Baseball), Indoor Spring Training Center and the Clinton Township Stars. The 2008 season Coach Holloway held the same position at Blue Ridge Community College that he held at St. Clair CC. At Blue Ridge he implemented the Team’s Recruiting System, Academic Protocol, supervised the fundraising, as well as coordinated the speed strength and agility programs.
Jack Holloway’s playing career started at Anchor Bay High School. He then went on to play Semi-Pro Single A Baseball. Holloway attended Grand Valley State University and is currently enrolled at Macomb Community College, Renew the Technology Program. He earned his EMT Certificate at the Life Support Training Institute in Southfield, Michigan.
Holloway is currently employed as an EMT-Basic for Superior EMS, an Independent Tile Contractor and Personal Baseball Instructor. Holloway and his wife, Rochelle Holloway have one child named Jaxson (J.R.).
