The Macomb Police Academy is located at the East Campus of Macomb Community College. Since 1971, Macomb has trained over 3,500 police officers from around the State of Michigan. Over 220 different law enforcement agencies in Michigan have hired Macomb graduates.

The academy provides over 640 hours/16 weeks of training approved by MCOLES to prepare candidates for entry into a law enforcement career. Two classes are held each year.

Fall 2008
Class begins August 18, 2008 and graduates December 10, 2008.

Spring 2009
Class begins January 26, 2009 and graduates May 15, 2009.

Classes are conducted at the East Campus, Emergency Services Training Center and Selfridge Air National Guard Base.
