ADVANCED POLICE TRAINING


The Advanced Police Section of Macomb Community College, Criminal Justice Training Center offers a full range of  in-service training within the public and private sectors for police officer, investigators, tactical teams, public safety divers, reserve officeers and 911 dispatchers.  

 Approximately 99% of the programs offered through Advanced Police Training are approved by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) for P.A. 302 (60%) funding for sworn police personnel.

Our Training Center offers department memberships as an alternative to paying tuition for your individual officer's training. We will work with your department to perform a Training Needs Assessment and develop a custom program to fit those needs. MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP STUDIES

The Center for Police Management and Leadership Studies is an intense, executive-level training program has been designed for police officers intent on earning the highest rank in their departments and those who have already achieved top rank. College.

FIREARMS RANGE

Our firearms arms range is the largest indoor range in Michigan. It is capable of accommodating up to 24 officers at a time.  This range is a flexible training ground that can accommodate a wide variety of firearms training needs.

TACTICAL TRAINING

The Advanced training section of the Macomb Criminal Justice Training Center offers the Tactical Training Academy to prepare selected sworn police personnel with   training to handle those high risk situations.
