Macomb's Center for Continuing Education is pleased to offer a Nursing Assistant program, providing preparation for the State Certification Test.  This program will get you well on your way to employment success in the role of Certified Nursing Assistant!

Fact:
Just short of a quarter (24.5 percent) of health care jobs are located in Home health care services, Nursing care facilities and Community care facilities for the elderly.

Fact:
 Nursing aides, orderlies and attendants, and home health aides are among the occupations adding the most new jobs between 2006 and 2016, about 647,000 combined.

What this Means?

Nursing Assistants are in Great Demand!  Employment opportunities for Nursing Assistants are growing rapidly- Southeast Michigan alone is expected to add 550 job opportunities each year for Nursing Aides, Orderlies, and Attendants through 2014.
