MEDIATION & ARBITRATION

Are you able to stay calm and objective under stress? Are you a good listener? Would you like to help two parties resolve their differences? Then you might have a future in Mediation and Arbitration!

Students who complete this training earn the skills to become independent mediators and arbitrators. To qualify for the Master Conflict Resolution Specialist Certificate, offered only through Macomb Community College's Workforce & Continuing Education, participants must complete all 160  hours of classroom courses.

Are you a licensed attorney? Then you may waive the Basic Mediation course and enroll in the General Civil Mediation or Domestic Relations programs. However, we recommended starting with the basic course so you won’t miss critical skill building exercises.
