Gain the skills to know how to interview for a wardrobe position and tips and techniques to make yourself stand out. Know the importance of and how to prepare for preproduction, while breaking down a script.
Be familiar with wardrobe fittings and proper protocol working with the actors. Become skilled at how and where to shop for clothes, how to rent clothing and organizing the wardrobe.
Know how to prepare for principal photography, what to do when on set, what items to carry in your kit.
And at final production have the skills and knwlexdge to wrap out your wardrobe trailer and what to deliver to the production at wrap.
Any time you talk about the look of the film, it's not just the director and the director of photography. You have to include the costume designer and the production designer.
