Film:  Hollywood Comes to Michigan!

Our instructors, led by award-winning producer and Midland native Jennifer Schaefer, are Subject-Matter Experts (SME) currently in the motion picture industry.

All training is hands-on and applicable to what is currently happening in the motion picture industry. Participants receive a certificate demonstrating their proficiency in the specific skills required to be employed in the fast expanding Michigan film industry.

Calling all beginner and intermediate producers and directors to discover the process of independent film making.

Instructor Dirk Eichhorst is a screenwriter-director with over 16 years experience on over 120 movie, DVD, and commercial projects in many genres. He has served as staff producer for several non-profit organizations. Recent productions include THE SCRIPTORIUM, a two-hour documentary on ancient Bibles and rare manuscripts. Dirk's current projects include the writing of several feature screenplays and seeking development deals. Dirk lives in West Michigan where he works as an independent
contractor through his company, Motions Film & Video, LLC.
