The U.S. Dept. of Labor has announced that Macomb will receive a $5 million grant to train residents to work in a variety of positions within the defense industry.  The college is currently in the process of scheduling and preparing classes, and expects to enroll students into the program in the second half of 2010.  As further information becomes available, it will be shared on macomb.edu.
