Volunteer on Martin Luther King Day – Monday, January 16, 2012
There are many ways to demonstrate the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King's vision. Join Macomb Community College as we celebrate the spirit of community and humanity by volunteering at various sites on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
All volunteers will meet in the John Lewis Student and Community Center (K-Building), Room 301 on January 16, 2012 from 8:00 am - 8:45 am.
- Welcome address delivered by Macomb Community College President Jim Jacobs
- Meet your leader and fellow volunteers
- In addition to volunteering, you can touch even more lives by donating to Macomb's Food for Thought Pantry! Bring your non-perishable items with you on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and help us restock food supplies for needy students and their families.
- A coffee service will be provided on the morning of the event to jump start our day!
