A new phone number is now available that provides the most up-to-date information on the college's closings and cancellations.  The new number - 586.445.7800 - is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and will provide a recording of any college closings and cancellations.  Please use this number if you are calling the college to find out if there are any closings or cancellations.

In addition, information is posted on the homepage of this website and on www.schoolclosed.com.   The following local broadcast media outlets will also receive notification: WJBK (FOX) TV-2, WDIV TV-4, WXYZ TV-7, WJR 760 AM, WWJ 950 AM, and WXYT 1270 AM.  However, if only specific college programs or buildings are being closed, it is possible that these outlets will not provide the details.
